July Events in Brussels
Ommegang Pageant (2 & 4 July)
Step back in time with the Ommegang Pageant, a historical reenactment commemorating Emperor Charles V's 1549 visit to Brussels. The procession features over 1,400 participants in period costumes, parading through the city to the Grand Place.The parade takes place from 9pm on Wednesday 2 and Friday 4 July, with doors opening at 7.30pm. Brosella Festival (4 - 6 July 2025)
Held in the scenic Osseghem Park, the Brosella Festival is a celebration of jazz and folk music. Enjoy performances from renowned artists in a relaxed, open-air setting near the iconic Atomium. The festival includes a “Pay-what-you-can” principle, allowing everyone to enjoy this unique musical gathering.
Midi Fair (Kermesse of Brussels - starting 19 July 2025)
As Brussels' largest fair, the Midi Fair boasts over 120 attractions, including rides, games and food stalls. Located on Boulevard du Midi, it's a family-friendly event drawing more than 1.5 million visitors annually. Open everyday from 2pm to midnight (or from 11am for food stalls), the Midi Fair runs until 24 August 2025.

Meyboom Festival (9 August)
Celebrate Brussels' oldest folkloric tradition, dating back to 1308. The Meyboom Festival features a lively procession and the ceremonial planting of a "tree of joy”.
